Introduction to Permaculture

One-Day Workshop, February 15th
9:00 - 4:00

Instructed by John Creasy and Guests

About the Class

Join this one-day Introduction to Permaculture workshop with the Director of Garfield Farm, John Creasy. Learn about this ecological design practice. This will be a broad introduction to Permaculture Design principles, case studies, and techniques. Our focus for the day will be on food production, but will discuss other applications of Permaculture as well.

In preparation for the workshop, we are working with a designer to create brand new Permaculture print materials. Workshop attendees will get to help provide feedback for the first distribution of these materials.

(Open Cost publishing is a new effort in transparency by the Saxifrage School to ensure students know what their money is being spent on when they sign up for courses. The “Tuition” moniker implies that funds are spent on instruction, but this is increasingly not the case at many schools. We want to change that.)
